This past week our River Kids traveled to the Plains Baptist Encampment in Floydada. They participated in various team building activities and pushed themselves out of their comfort zones to learn what it means to trust in God. The focus for the week was making God the center of your orbit and how to create a life that glorifies God in all that we do. Our kids dove into their bibles during individual quiet time and came away with some great notes and takeaways from the lessons throughout camp. Thank you for allowing your kids to be a part of this experience and if they didn’t get to go this year we hope that they can join in on the adventure next year!
August is fast approaching and that means Mom’s Day Out will be starting soon! If you haven’t gotten your kiddos registered yet don’t worry there’s still spots available. We will be having a Q&A session here a the church on July 16th. This will be for anyone that is currently registered or anyone considering registering their child, so make sure to tell your friends and family. It’s VBS month and we can’t wait to take a deep dive into what it means to have Jesus not only as your savior, but as your friend. Registration is open HERE. This is for all kids in the community, so please make sure to invite your kiddos friends to come and join in the fun. We will be providing dinner for everyone in attendance and doors will open at 5:00. We hope to see you there July 23rd!
