Elder Jake Childers is preaching Psalm 91 on Sunday. We have a couple of baptisms.
And that’s all really really special.
But…we have a very special guest coming to baptize! Pastor Josh Light from FBC is coming over to baptize Zane Lagunas — and we can’t wait for you to hear this story!
Make Room update: I know I know, by now you’ve heard so much Make Room talk, it makes you skip ahead. But DON’T!
I want to tell you another amazing story.
A few Sundays ago, the elders received an anonymous note in the GIVE box desiring to match up to $20,000 in July Make Room contributions. As of last Sunday, the 19th, we had received $11,800 in July. So I prayed about and even talked to Ashley about standing up and asking someone to write a check for $8,000 last week. So before preaching I didn’t have a peace about that and backed out on that request.
Somebody heard it anyway. Not from me. But from Holy Spirit. And we received $8000.
Exactly.
So, after to months, we are one quarter of the way to our goal.
Every step. Every move. Every dream. Every ounce of faith is being exposed and unlocked. To God be the glory. HE is making room. And so are you. As you pray and continue to trust God, I invite you (even if you’ve already given, to…
First, see the vision. Don’t see a construction project. See transformed lives.
Second, pray. Ask God what part He would have you play. Seek Him together as a family. Trust Him to lead you.
Third, give generously. Not reluctantly. Not under pressure. But joyfully, knowing that every gift becomes part of God’s work through His church.
