Hey church!
I have a couple of urgent things to tell you about today.
Terry and Sheryl Chavez have a really cool offer for elderly Panther fans or others interested. If you or someone you know wants to go to the away football games this season but cannot drive at night or don’t feel comfortable driving that far, the Chavez’ will be taking a church van, and you can catch a ride! This Friday, the game is in Stratford at 7pm, so they will be leaving at 5pm from the church. BE SURE to call or text them (575) 760-6389 and let them know you need a ride.
I need some friends. Seriously. Dustin Copenhaver and I are going to Kyle, TX on Sept 14-15 to help Heirloom Church (a brand new church we are helping to launch) with their Grand Opening that Sunday morning. You may remember Dakota and Maggie Adair, who were here in January to tell us about it. We will drive down Saturday afternoon, spend the night in Kyle, and do all the behind the scenes things we can (make and serve coffee, set up and tear down, etc.) to let their people be out front and get to know their guests. We have lodging secured and will get your meals. Text me and let know you’re coming. Space is limited, so first come, first served.
Fun fact: Did you know we had 240 people here Wednesday night for Midweek?! Oh the goodness. Next week adult meal is brisket and smoked chicken! Let’s gooooo! Come join us next Wednesday.
Timeless series continues this Sunday with a look at Noah, the flood of life we experience and Genesis 6. It’s gonna be so timely. See you there….
