Church family,
There’s something so good about this time of year. Summer has been full, schedules have been scattered, vacations have been taken, and routines have been anything but routine. But now, little by little, everybody is finding their rhythm again.
School is back. Football. MDO has started. Calendars are filling up. Football. Small groups and ministries are gearing up. Did I mention football?
I want to encourage you: make gathering with your church family part of that rhythm.
God has done some incredible things at The River this summer, and I believe He’s preparing us for an even greater season ahead. This weekend we’re wrapping up our journey through the Psalms, and I’m especially excited because Pastor Caitlyn will be bringing Psalm 37 to light! I love watching God raise up, strengthen, and use the leaders He has placed in this church. And among the stars (Phil 2:15), Caitlyn shines so bright! Come ready to worship, encourage her, and hear what God wants to say to us.
And church — WE’RE 1/4 OF THE WAY THERE! Through your generosity, we have already reached 35% of our $200,000 MAKE ROOM goal. That’s worth celebrating! Every gift represents someone saying, “I believe in what God is doing here, and I want to make room for more people to experience it.”
But we’re just getting started.
More room for kids.
More room for students.
More room for families.
More room for worship. Did you know there are 100 more chairs in the room??
More room for discipleship.
More room for people who haven’t walked through our doors yet.
Please continue to See the vision, Pray about the role you play, and Give with us to Make Room!
As we settle back into our rhythms, let’s make sure they are rhythms that move us toward Jesus and toward one another. Come home. Lean in. Worship big. Serve somebody. Give generously. Invite somebody.
I’m incredibly grateful for this church family and excited about where God is taking us. There is more room to make — and more people to reach. The best is yet to come.
Love you, church.
