Fam!
Easter is here! For Christians, Easter is the most important HOLY-day — maybe even more than Christmas. Why? Because we remember the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the very foundation of our hope. And it’s at the core of our faith — it awakens victory over death, sin, and hopelessness in us.
- Resurrection = hope in the face of despair.
- The empty tomb = freedom from whatever binds us.
- Grace = love that doesn’t give up.
And it’s about renewal, grace, and second (maybe even third, fourth, fifth) chances. The power here is transforming: Easter also reflects a seasonal meaning while we are still on earth:
- Spring symbolizes rebirth, and renewal.
- Nature wakes up again.
- Even eggs, flowers, & bunnies represent fertility and new life.
While they aren’t spiritual or biblical symbols, the world views them as “Eastery”. So, even other-Easter symbols remind us that life (John 10:10) keeps going, especially after the darkest seasons.
This weekend we will INHALE and CELEBRATE the air that the RISEN SAVIOR breathed into us. Good Friday Night of Worship, the Easter Egg Hunt, and EASTER Sunday are all incredible ways to (re)introduce friends, neighbors, co-workers, kid’s coaches, servers and bartenders, and whoever you encounter to hear the Gospel and know the love of the Father
Let’s GOOOOO! I love you, church!
