Hey all!
In case you missed last weekend, we heard from the River Students in our Generation Takeover service. They were all amazing as they greeted, served, led music and shared God’s Word in worship. What a sweet opportunity for them and us. We are not only proud of them, we are inspired by them. You can check that service out HERE.
We also took time to say thank you to Dawson & Naomi Hackett who have shepherded Student Ministry here the last four years. I want to say a personal word of THANKS to Youth Pastor Naomi who has loved, cared for, planned, taught and prayed over students in a gifted and humble way. I’m moved by the wife, mother, leader, and person she is. As she steps into a more full-time mommy role in her life, be sure to say “Thank you” when you see her!
Tonight at 7pm in the Fellowship Room, I am hosting a parent meeting to cast vision, share updates, and answer questions about Student Ministry going forward. Please join us if you have teenagers or upcoming teenagers to hear about the next GREAT day of Student Ministry here at the River.
