Church!
It’s officially summer! And unlike our VERY dry spring, we are getting some MUCH NEEDED soaking rain as I write this. Thank you, Jesus for that. So refreshing!
Speaking of refreshing…
I am stoked to tell you that tomorrow we will start our summer sermon series.
The Psalms series is gonna be “still waters” and “green pastures” for our souls! We have selected amazing and powerful Psalms to fuel and encourage you, and we have a variety of godly voices “leading us in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” It’s gonna be so good!
Have you heard from the Lord what to give to MAKE ROOM yet? The work has already begun on the “Ol’ Chap” (old chapel) where
our amazing River Kids call home. We’ve also ordered more chairs for the Worship Center and started work on the parsonage. We’re walking in faith like and with you!
There are other parts of the vision, and we invite you to SEE that vision, PRAY, watch some progress (have you noticed the new windows??), and GIVE to MAKE (more) ROOM! Click the image above to go see it.
There is also a new progress page you can access from the Make Room page! Go check it out!
What a great time to be a part of the body of Christ, AND to call The River home.
I’ll see you tomorrow for Psalms, worship of Jesus, Communion, baptism, and more.
Let’s go, Church!
