River Fam,
As we begin 2026, let’s choose to start strong—on purpose. God is inviting us to walk wisely, not casually, and to live with intention in every area of our lives. Scripture reminds us:
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” — Ephesians 5:15–17
This year, let’s be intentional about our walk with God—prioritizing time in His presence, listening for His voice, and obeying His Word. Let’s be active and engaged in church life, knowing that God grows us best in community, through serving, worshiping, and loving one another. And let’s make the best use of our time, investing it in what truly matters for eternity.
May 2026 be a year where The River flows deeper—marked by wisdom, faithfulness, spiritual growth, and a passion to live fully for God’s purposes. Let’s walk forward together, eyes open, hearts surrendered, and lives aligned with His will.
A couple of important things to remember:
-
We JUST started 31 days of praying, seeking the Lord, and (some) fasting to align our hearts with God and others this new year. It’s never too late to be intentional! Jump in here.
