We want to take a moment to celebrate and share with you the incredible work God is doing in our Student Ministry. Over the past months, we have not only seen growth in numbers, but more importantly, growth in depth. Students are leaning into God’s Word, asking deeper questions, and showing a genuine desire to know Him more.
This is what we pray for — not just attendance, but transformation. Our students are stepping up in worship, engaging in small groups, and learning what it truly means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. We believe this is only the beginning of what God wants to do in and through this next generation. The students are truly developing a faith of their own before they are sent off to college or the workforce to take the Kingdom of God wherever they go.
We have a few events coming up that will just continue to fuel the fire:
October 15, RVR Students will be joining in with local FCA chapters and churches to gather at the Bulldog Stadium in Borger for Fields of Faith. If you have a student that wants to attend, please register them at no cost. We want to make sure to have enough seats to transport everyone over there and back safely. January 2nd – 3rd, The River and FBC Panhandle are partnering to put on our 2nd annual Ignite the Panhandle Student Conference. Last year, we had over 120 students attend and get to better know God’s nature and character. This year our theme is “ The Lion, The Lamb, And Coming Again.” Students stay at host homes with their peers to pursue all that God has for them together for 26 hours.
