Hey church family!
Coming up in 2026 we are starting our year off with a daily focus on God, and being intentional about our hearts in prayer. Monday, Jan 6 at 7pm at First Monday Prayer, we are having a special night of prayer AND communion.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
If you were looking for it – there is your resolution (will) for 2026 in one scripture. Many are familiar with the story in Acts where the church (believers) shared all their possessions and lived together with no needs. Right before this it says, “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly” (Acts 4:31). When the church stayed in prayer and the word of God, notice: taking care of widows and others happened naturally — and the believers were of one heart and mind.So when we pray – The River grows, the body of Christ grows in this and surrounding towns, our state, our nation, and ultimately, everywhere.
