This Sunday my good friend and our Fall Men’s Retreat worship leader, Brent Lamb, will be back to lead us in Sunday worship. Brent is a Nashville native, has an incredible gift for music AND heart for serving Jesus. He has written many chart topping songs, and was lead singer for the Grammy award winning group, Shenandoah. We also have some other amazing worship guests lined up this summer as we prayerfully and carefully seek the next person to lead us in weekly worship gatherings at The River. Please join us in prayer for God to send that person soon.
I trust God, and He has has remarkable days ahead for us. My prayer as pastor here always has been and remains that “He who began a GOOD work in us, would be faithful to complete it until the Day of Christ Jesus” (Phil 1:6). Our very best days are yet to come!
Let me introduce you to Madelyn Manning, in case you don’t know her. She is our new Nursery Director, and will be serving newborns – preschoolers and their families, scheduling childcare, guiding, and loving your families well. Welcome to the team Maddy. We are grateful for you and so happy to have you on board!
