River Family,
As we celebrate the gift of Christmas, we are holding your family close in our thoughts and prayers. This season reminds us that true peace is not found in perfect circumstances, but in God’s presence among us. Scripture tells us, “For unto us a child is born… and He shall be called the Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6). May His peace rest deeply in your home and hearts this Christmas.
When the angels announced Jesus’ birth, they proclaimed, “Peace on earth, goodwill toward men” (Luke 2:14). It is our hope that this promise of peace surrounds your family—bringing calm to busy days, comfort in quiet moments, and unity in all that you share together.
Jesus reminds us, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you” (John 14:27). May that peace guard your hearts and minds, steady you through challenges, and renew your strength as you look toward the year ahead. May your conversations be filled with grace, your relationships strengthened by love, and your days guided by patience and understanding.
As you move into the new year, we pray the words of Philippians 4:7 over you—that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds. May your family continue to walk in peace with one another and with all, just as Scripture encourages us to do (Romans 12:18).
Wishing you a Christmas filled with hope, light, and the lasting peace that only God can give, and…
See you tonight at 5p for the VERY SPECIAL Candlelight service.
