Hey parents!
We know you’ve probably seen the announcements about Parent Dedication coming up, and we wanted to give some clarification. Your child DOES NOT have to be an infant or a young child in order for you to participate in parent dedication. Maybe you’re new to The River and have never been given the opportunity to dedicate your children or maybe being a part of God’s family and his church is new for you, and your family and you haven’t been able to take this next step.
That’s okay! We want you to know that it doesn’t matter at what age you dedicate your child. What really matters is your heart to dedicate your children to the Lord and to raise them up in His ways.
I have cherished the words and prayers spoken over each of my children during this sweet time, and I would love for you to experience it as well. So, no matter how young or old your child is, please make sure to join us for Parent Dedication on Sunday, September 28th, so we can celebrate this decision with you.
